"Old English" or "Traditional" Herefords are now a rare breed of cattle but were commonly used in Canada, US, New Zealand and Australia. They were renowned for their versitility in extreme environmental climates and also for their docile nature. Nowadays continental breeds are more commonly used, which has made the Old English Hereford a rare breed.
We have a small herd of Herefords on Broomfield Farm, Bert our stock Bull, four fattening steers, one heifer called Molly, four breeding cows called Rosie, Marble, Cybil and Megan who both have just had a bull calf
You are welcome to come down and visit the Herefords whilst visiting the pigs, we do occasionally have beef for sale, which hopefully will become more frequent over the next year.
